Commitment to confidentiality

he commitment to confidentiality describes the extent of the confidentiality principle that parties, counsel, and others involved in the mediation process commit themselves to.

Essentially, discussions at mediation sessions are protected and their content is inadmissible in evidence in the courts, except in exceptional cases.

The mediator will invite the parties to sign the confidentiality agreement before starting the first mediation session.
