Our Services

Free mediation

The mediation clinic offers a free mediation service (except for the file opening fees) in order to become a place of access to justice for citizens. The parties can benefit from three 2-hour sessions free of charge.

Presentations to targeted clienteles

The mediation clinic’s mandate is to promote mediation to the general public. Students have the opportunity to explain mediation to various groups. They present the mediation clinic and the benefits of using mediation. The presentations are created by the students according to the needs and potential uses of the target group.

Presentations to schools

In order to promote the change of judicial culture, the mediation clinic introduces mediation to high school students through presentations and simulations. Mediation Clinic students visit high schools to present interactive workshops. They are adapted according to the age of the public in order to ensure an optimal learning.

Research

The mediation clinic has contributed to several research projects.
The clinic provides empirical evidence to the ADAJ project. Therefore, it contributes to the scientific knowledge regarding alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Furthermore, the students of the clinic can contribute to the writing of scientific articles.
