In order to ensure quality services, the professionals who offer mediation services within the clinic comply with the “Guide de normes de pratique en médiation civile et commerciale du Barreau du Québec» and our ethical code inspired by the “Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec ».
The mediation clinic aims to democratize the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) within the Quebec community. We offer affordable mediation service and information tools to the people of Quebec. In order to reflect the cultural diversity in Quebec and to contribute to the integration of these communities, the information on our website is translated by students from the Faculty of Law of the “Université de Montréal” who have knowledge in several languages.
The Mediation Clinic provides a long distance mediation service through the use of new technologies.
It offers students the opportunity to learn skills essential to their education. This project raises students' awareness of how to prevent and resolve disputes. The clinic also offers them the opportunity to develop and propose innovative projects.
If you have proposals related to the mission and values of the clinic, please complete the " Project Ideas" form.
